Ephraim McDowell Health hosted a ribbon-cutting and open house at its new Lancaster facility on Thursday, March 26, from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. Located at 189 Farra Drive, immediately behind the Garrard County Senior Center, the facility is home to Lancaster Diagnostics, a Specialty Clinic and Lancaster Immediate Care.

The public was invited to the ribbon-cutting ceremony, which was held in conjunction with the Lancaster-Garrard County Chamber of Commerce. During the open house that followed, individuals enjoyed refreshments and a tour of the facility.

The facility opened March 30. Lab and X-ray services will be provided from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, while immediate care services will be available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. each Saturday and Sunday. In addition, the Specialty Clinic will allow individuals to be seen on-site by specialty physicians who practice outside of Garrard County. The Specialty Clinic will be staffed Monday through Friday by appointment.
