State and Federal Elected Officials |

State Representative Lonnie Napier represents the 36th district and resides in Lancaster. The 36th district is comprised of Garrard County and part of Madison County.
State Senator Tom Buford represents the 22nd district and resides in Nicholasville. The 22nd district is comprised of Garrard, Boyle, Jessamine, and part of Fayette County.
US Senator Jim Bunning was elected for a second term of office on November 2, 2004. He along with Senator Mitch McConnell represent the interests of Kentucky in the United States Senate.
US Senator Mitch McConnell is a long time senator first elected in 1984. He along with Senator Jim Bunning work to serve the best interests of Kentucky.
Congressman Ben Chandler was first elected to the US House of Representatives in a special election in February of 2004 and subsequently won a full two year term in November 2004. He represents the 6th congressional district (central Kentucky).
